About us
Two decades of highland farming, one standard of freshness
Fresh Crop began as a family operation in Alvarado de Cartago and grew into a producer and exporter serving retail chains and international buyers.
Our story
Founded in 2002 in Alvarado, Cartago
What started as a small family operation marketing fresh vegetables grew, season after season, into an integrated business: own farms, a nursery, contract growers, a washing and packing plant, and cold storage. Today Fresh Crop supplies the main supermarket chains in Costa Rica and exports abroad, still run by the same family, still measured by how fresh the product arrives.
